Qualified Medication Aide Insulin Administration
Our Qualified Medication Aide Insulin Administration class is Indiana State Approved and accredited through the Indiana State Department of Health Division of Health Care Education and Quality.
Qualified Medication Aide students will receive sixty (6) hours of classroom training. Upon successful completion of the classroom portion of the program, students will then complete a two (2) hour practicum of hands on training during the practicum portion of the program at an assisted living facility and/or long-term care/skilled nursing facility with a registered nurse. Each student who attends the program will receive study materials. Our program will prepare Qualified Medication Aides to take the state exam to become certified to administer insulin.
