Instructors

Ready To Care is comprised of a team of highly educated Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses who have experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Each one of our  instructors are passionate about education. All instructors have been certified through Indiana University School of Nursing Center for Professional Development and Lifelong Learning.

We not only want to serve our immediate community but also develop relationships and form partnerships with staples in other communities throughout the state of Indiana, nationally, and globally. By partnering with different business in our community such as assisted living facilities, daycare centers, hospitals, correctional facilities, long-term care/skilled facilities, occupational health facilities, rehabilitation centers and schools, it allows students exposure to a variety of healthcare settings.

Home Health Aide

Our Home Health Aide competency evaluation allows us to work with home health companies and assisted living

facilities to evaluate their team members through a detailed competency evaluation and ensure that performance and required skills are up to standard. After successful completion of seventy-five (75) hours of training (sixteen (16) classroom hours and fifty-nine (59) clinical hours) students will be placed on the Indiana Home Health Aide Registry.

Nurse Aide Training

Our Nurse Aide Training Program is Indiana State Approved and accredited through the Indiana State Department of Health Division of Health Care Education and Quality. We offer four (4) week day and evening programs.

Students will receive thirty (30) hours of classroom training and seventy-five (75) hours of hands on training during  weekend clinicals in an assisted living facility and/or long-term care/skilled nursing environment.

Each student will receive study materials, one (1) scrub uniform, one (1) gait belt, physical and two (2)-step ppd.

Our program will prepare students to take the state exam to become a Certified Nurse Aide.

Qualified Medication Aide

Our Qualified Medication Aide Program is Indiana State Approved and accredited through the Indiana State Department of Health Division of Health Care Education and Quality. We offer four (4) week day and evening programs. Students will receive sixty (60) hours of classroom training. Upon successful completion of the classroom portion of the program, students will then complete forty (40) hours of hands on training during the practicum portion of the program at an assisted living facility and/or long-term care/skilled nursing facility. Each student  who attends the program will receive study materials. Our program will prepare students to take the state exam to become a

Qualified Medication Aide.

Qualified Medication Aide Insulin Administration

Our Qualified Medication Aide Insulin Administration class is Indiana State Approved and accredited through the Indiana State Department of Health Division of Health Care Education and Quality.

Qualified Medication Aide students will receive sixty (6) hours of classroom training. Upon successful completion of the classroom portion of the program, students will then complete a two (2) hour practicum of hands on training during the practicum portion of the program at an assisted living facility and/or long-term care/skilled nursing facility with a registered nurse. Each student  who attends the program will receive study materials. Our program will prepare Qualified Medication Aides to take the state exam to become certified to administer insulin.

TB Validation

Ready To Care provides TB validation through Indiana Lung Association. Each individual being validated must first complete the online Basic Tuberculosis Education Course (course must be completed within sixty (60) days of competency evaluation). Upon successful completion of the Basic Tuberculosis Education Course students will be eligible to complete the practicum portion. Students will hold a Basic TB Card and will be validated to place and read PPD’s for three (3) years upon successful competency demonstration.
